Audra Stafford

Audra has been covering the news in San Diego County for 15 years as a television news writer, producer and reporter.

She is also a correspondent for the syndicated television show California Life and for BroadwayWorld.com. Additionally, Audra has hosted Broadway/San Diego’s 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 Season Preview TV specials promoting the upcoming theatrical productions at the San Diego Civic Theatre and Balboa Theatre.

Throughout her career, Audra has interviewed many of Hollywood’s finest actors, directors, producers and musicians, including Robin Williams, Helen Mirren, Ed Harris, Teri Hatcher, Frankie Valli, Burt Bacharach, Robert Foxworth and Jerry Bruckheimer, as well as Tony Award-winners Lin-Manuel Miranda, Lea Salonga and San Diego native (and co-director of The Book of Mormon) Casey Nicholaw.

Audra won four Emmys as a news producer at KGTV-10News, where she also worked as an on air Digital Correspondent, writing, shooting and editing her own stories. She is a distinguished graduate of San Diego State University’s Television, Film and New Media Production program, where she earned two Student Emmys. She is an active member of SAG-AFTRA and the Board of Governors for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter, this region’s Emmys organization.

In her free time Audra loves the theatre, movies, ball games, restaurants, hiking, paddle boarding, going to the beach and everything San Diego.
