Bonnie: Monday’s Adoption Pet 1/9/17
Pet’s Name: Bonnie
Breed: Miniature Aussie / Spaniel / doxie blend
Age: estimated at 2 years
Sex: spayed female
Organization: Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego
Bonnie is a gentle girl that wound up in a high kill shelter VERY pregnant. Three days after Chihuahua Rescue pulled her from the shelter, she gave birth to six puppies. Now, it’s time for her to move on and find a home of her own. Bonnie has the spotted feet of a cattle dog or miniature Aussie, the longer hair of a Spaniel, and the personality of a Golden or Labrador Retriever. She loves being with humans as much as possible, and knows what a doggie door is, but still needs a bit of guidance getting outside. Her foster family believes she was was locked outside all the time, and now she’s afraid that she won’t be allowed back in where she can be with the family. This pretty little girl is only 17-pounds, so she’s the perfect size for any living situation; condo, apartment or house…plus she travels well and would love to join you on your outings. She’s learning how to walk on a leash and harness, and she’s clearly enjoying life as a beloved companion. If you’d like to make Bonnie part of your life, please contact Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego at RescueAChihuahua.com, where you fill out an adoption application, or learn more about their foster program.
