Chance and Bender are a bonded pair of middle aged Pitties who grew up in a family with children. Sadly their family moved out of their home right before July 4th and had nowhere for the boys to go other than the shelter. Due to overcrowding at the shelter on the 4th of July weekend, because of the fireworks, these two were scheduled to be euthanized. Lionel’s Legacy had to step in and give these loving boys a second chance…so they rescued them from the shelter, and now they’re in boarding while the rescue organization looks for either a FOSTER family or a permanent adopter.  Chance and Bender are house trained, very easy going, and would be very happy being your cuddle partner… especially if you have kids. They’d do best in a home with a yard or a person willing to take them for walks to get some exercise. They’re both up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and ready to make your family complete!  Meet the boys at the 2nd Annual Surf’N’Paws on Sunday August 21st from noon to 3 p.m. at Tsavo’s Canine Rehab Center in Del Mar.  $15 tickets are available online at Eat some food, drink some beer, maybe win a $500 Petco gift card, all for a good cause. Check out their website for all the details.
