Dahlia is an active, playful, spayed 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier.  She’s full-grown at 75-pounds.  She was originally brought in to the shelter as a stray in January.  Dahlia is the type of dog who’d love to spend time playing fetch or joining you on a long walk before settling down at home for the night.  Because of her size and playful energy level, she’d do best in a home with kids who are at least 10 years of age.  Dahlia gets along with most dogs, but she’s not recommend for a home with cats.  She’s treat motivated and loves a good back scratch. To promote the adoption of their wonderful Pitties, the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility is hosting a “Pardon a Pit” adoption special for the month of April, on all Pit Bull Terrier and Pit Bull Terrier mixes.  The special adoption fee is only $25 and includes spay or neuter, microchip, deworming and vaccinations.  For more information call the adoption counselor at 619 691-5174 or email lsepton@chulavistaca.gov. The shelter is located at 130 Beyer Way just off Main Street.
