Lucy: Wednesday’s Adoption Pet 12/28/16
Breed: Terrier mix
Sex: Spayed female
Organization: The Rescued Dog
Adorable Lucy has had a rough start but we have high hopes for her future! Lucy and her litter mate Ethel were found when they were just 10 weeks old, trapped under a trailer house, with no sign of either their mom or any other surviving siblings. A good Samaritan rescued them and asked The Rescued Dog to take the two adorable sisters into their foster program. Lucy and Ethel are fun, interactive, and super cute. Lucy has a sweet and mellow demeanor. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, and humans, including children. Lucy likes having another dog around, but would probably be okay as an only dog, as long as she gets a lot of social play time. She has a beautiful and unique scruffy merle-colored coat. She’s 4 months old now, and weighs about 8-pounds. We think she’ll be around 15-to-20 pounds when she’s full-grown. If you’d like to meet Lucy, or her sister Ethel, please fill out an adoption application at TheRescuedDog.org, and an adoption coordinator will be in touch to schedule a meet and greet in the New Year! And if you’re looking for a New Year’s Resolution that’ll really make a difference…please consider becoming a foster home for a dog in need.
