Nature is a 6-year-old retired greyhound residing at the Greyhound Adoption Center.  She arrived from a racetrack in May after registering an astonishing 493 races during her career.  Nature cannot live in a home with cats but would be happy living with a canine companion over 20 pounds.  Even at the age of six, Nature  is happy, exuberant, and playful and will make a wonderful companion for an active family with children of all ages.  Like all the dogs from the Center she’s had a complete medical evaluation, she’s altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and had a thorough dental cleaning.  All the dogs are fully evaluated for temperament and personality, and tested with cats, small dogs, and young children before being profiled for a home.  Meet Nature and 45 other adoptable dogs at the Greyhound Adoption Center ‘s Open House, and tour of their facility this Sunday from 1-to-3 pm.  They’re at 4821 Dehesa Road in El Cajon.  Visit with volunteers and learn more about greyhound rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and volunteer opportunities.  For more information call toll free 877-478-8364, visit their website at HoundSavers.org.
