Oso: Monday’s Adoption Pet 11/21/16
Age: 7-year-old senior
Sex: Neutered Male
Organization: Animal Rescuers Without Borders
Oso is appearing on TV for the third time after previous efforts did not result in an adoption. Since November is National Adopt-A-Senior Pet month, our fingers are crossed for a good family to notice him this time. This handsome Pomeranian is 7-years-old, but it’s important to remember that small dogs live much longer than large breeds, so in that respect, he’s only middle-aged. Oso weighs 18-pounds, and he’s great with all dogs, cats, and people. He’s healthy, and thriving in his foster home, with a family who reports that he’s completely house-trained, crate-trained, good on a leash, and enjoys a good walk, or a nice ride in the car. Oso is a total lap-dog and an excellent companion. He recently had a dental cleaning and had a senior blood panel screening, which came out totally normal and healthy. His special adoption fee is just $50 this month, and if he’s not adopted soon, he’ll be up for adoption at the Santa Paws MEGA Adoption Event in December. Please go ARWOB.org for an adoption application and more info about the event.
