Phoenix and Yuma are two sisters from a litter of 7 puppies who will all be available this Saturday at the Animal Rescuers Without Borders adoption event. The litter of puppies was rescued from Baja four weeks ago, and the pups, 4 boys and 3 girls, have been quarantined in a San Diego foster home since then. Now that they’re 2 months old and have had their vet check, they’re being spayed or neutererd, microchipped and vaccinated in preparation for this Saturday’s big adoption event at the Clairemont Petsmart from 11 AM to 2 PM.  These two sweet little girls are you’re typical happy, playful puppies.  They’re Dachshund and Chihuahua, and though they weigh just 4 pounds now, they could be 15-to-20 pounds, full grown.  If puppies aren’t your thing, and you’d rather have a dog who is already housetrained, be sure to visit ARWOB.org and come out to the event to meet lots of puppies and dogs for adoption.  Those that aren’t lucky enough to be adopted will be needing foster families, so if you’re not ready to make a commitment, they could use your help taking care of the pups until a forever home is found.
