Scottsdale: Monday’s Adoption Pet 10/31/16
Age: 4 months old
Sex: Neutered Male
Organization: Animal Rescuers Without Borders
Back in August, Animal Rescuers Without Borders rescued a litter of puppies and their mom. When they went to pick up the little family, one of the puppies was missing, and they feared the worst had happened. Nevertheless, volunteers left notes around the neighborhood asking people to call them if they saw the puppy. Well, a couple of weeks ago, they finally got a call from someone who had planned to keep the puppy, but when he realized how much work was involved in raising and training a puppy properly, he called ARWOB to come get the little guy. Now, Scottsdale is safe in a loving foster home. He’s been neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. While he’s 5 pounds now, he has the potential to reach 15 to 20 pounds full grown. While he’s very sweet and getting the hang of crate-training, he’s not yet house-trained. Of course, that’s quite normal for a puppy of his age, so he just needs someone with the patience to take him out regularly and consistently so that he knows what to do. Scottsdale is already well socialized with other dogs, cats, and children. If you’re ready for a lifetime committment, come meet Scottsdale this Saturday the 5th, at the Clairemont Petco from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Go to ARWOB.org for details.
