Sunny: Wednesday’s Adoption Pet 11/02/16
Breed: Corgi/Jack Russell
Sex: Neutered Male
Organization: The Rescued Dog
Are you looking for a ray of sunshine in your life? Sunshine, or Sunny, as he’s called by his friends, came to The Rescued Dog from a San Bernardino Shelter in March. At two months of age, he’d already had a rough life. His right front foot was broken and he was very afraid and insecure. After 5 months of healing, rehab, and professional training, he’s now happy, healthy and ready for his forever home. Sunny benefits greatly from socializing with other confident dogs. His foster family takes him to the dog park and the beach to make sure he has positive interactions with new canine friends. He also loves playing with his foster family’s dogs. Sunny enjoys a good game of fetch and drops the ball on command. He’s a smart little guy who also knows several other basic commands. Sunny is still working on his leash manners and will need a family willing to continue with his training. Sunny does best in a calm environment and has the characteristics of both a Jack Russell terrier and a Corgi. He’s just 28-pounds and almost full-grown. If you’d like to meet Sunny, please got to TheRescuedDog.org for an application, and you can also learn about fostering a dog in need.
